Rubber – a very special liquid

Natural rubber (indian: `tear of trees`) is mainly extracted from rubber trees. By grazing the bark the fluid drains out of the tree and is collected in tanks.

There are rubber tree plantations in Asia and Africa from where this important raw material is distributed world wide.

Already by 1600 B.C. natural rubber was known by the native middle americans. A high demand for natural rubber increased with the discovery of vulcanisation by Goodyear in 1839. Until today natural rubber remains on the market.

Our quality rubber products are formed with special admixtures. These admixtures enable the desired features in terms of abrasion, heat, media resistance, aging and elasticity.

Special customer requested elastomeric compounds are in-house developed and manufactured.
